The WAMA Alliance is devoted to ensuring the quality of the martial arts around the world today. This organization was founded in 1980 by Soke Grandmaster Alan Kates, 10th Dan, and its purpose is to align high quality martial arts schools and organizations around the world, who are dedicated to maintaining the true traditions, integrity of the Arts and Martial Art School development.

The Worldwide Alliance of Martial Artists (WAMA) is an organization dedicated to raising the standards of the Martial Arts by expunging politics and shaping the foundation by which martial artists, schools, and Instructors achieve excellence.
WAMA provides various seminars and rated tournaments, as well as a network of school owners and Instructors across the globe. The alliance is open to all styles, systems, and martial artists that are deemed reputable.
Everyone and every style has something to offer. We must join together as true martial artists to promote the health of the Arts as a whole. There is no room for politics, only the traditional values, honor, and integrity the martial arts true spirit demands.
